HGV Driver Class 2

Joining our friendly and hardworking team as a HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER, you'll be on the front line dealing with orders, deliveries and stock coming in and out of the business. As part of the branch team, you will play a vital role in our continued success, providing a first class service.

What will I be doing?

You’ll be carrying out multi-drop deliveries of building materials from our branch to our local customers in a safe and professional manner. Loading/unloading the vehicle in the yard using the HIAB, it’ll be your responsibility to ensure the vehicle is properly loaded, safe and in-line with road and transport legislation. 

As well as this, you will be having credible conversations with our customers, as you join us to be the face of our branch. We will continuously aim to provide a great reliable delivery service, completed to a high standard… Every time!

For this role you will be joining the team in Keyline Widnes. This is an established team of 11 and a competitive branch where they deal with a lot of customers in a day. Joining this established team you will be placed in a fast paced environment and will be at the forefront of our business with this customer facing role. With their HGV vehicles ranging from 18, 16 and 32 tonne they have the HGV trucks to make deliveries of everything to everywhere. With local competition we are looking for somebody who can bring enthusiasm and drive to our team to make the branch complete. With our very close knit team and loyal customer base this would be the perfect opportunity for someone to get their foot in the door.

No HIAB or Moffett? No problem! 

As a group, we pride ourselves in offering exciting development opportunities. As part of your role, you will utilise either a HIAB or Moffett on a daily basis, when loading/unloading the vehicle. The branch will fully fund and arrange your training, ensuring you’re qualified and comfortable operating a vehicle-mounted crane or forklift!

• Cat C Driving Licence
