WAREHOUSE/Trade Counter Apprenticeship

Joining our friendly and hard working family as a WAREHOUSE/Trade Counter Apprentice, you'll be on the front line dealing with our customers that come into our branch. 

This role is based in our BSS Nottingham branch, this is a growing team where you are really made to feel at home. With great staff and a great customer base it will be the perfect branch to start your career with us. Our team get stuck in and help each other out when in busier periods. What will I be doing?

Not one day is the same as the next in BSS branch life! You’ll get exposure across a number of areas within your branch yet this role is a WAREHOUSE role. You’ll be working with a team to get our products to the customer safely and efficiently. 

Salary: £dependant on experience + Bonus + 22 days holiday plus bank holidays + discounts and access to health and well being advice and support.  

Hours of work: Our working hours also offer a great work life balance, Monday to Friday, no weekends  - most of our customers choose to enjoy their weekends and bank holidays which means you can too!

How we’ll support you?

Right from the start of your career with us, you’ll be supported in your development. You’ll join our Service and Know How Programme, a 12 month Apprenticeship that will give you tools to be successful in your role. Over your level 2 apprenticeship, you’ll explore our safety culture, the products we sell, the services we provide and understand more about our customers.  Through 1:1 coaching and mentoring, you’ve got a fantastic support network that will support you, not only through the apprenticeship programme, but your day to day development.

Over the year, you will build the foundations for your future career as well as gaining a nationally recognised qualification. With apprenticeships covering 90% of our roles, there’s also multiple development opportunities to fast track your career within our Group. When level 2 is complete, we will support you with level 3 - an ongoing career development programme.
