Technical Support Engineer – Air Conditioning

Base Location: Flexible, UK

We’re now looking to recruit an experienced Air Conditioning Technical Support Engineer who will be responsible for providing technical support, training, marketing and product development to help us achieve our ongoing market share development plans.

Key responsibilities for this role include:
  • Site surveys alongside customers to establish AC needs
  • Offering advice on product range and product performance
  • Advice on Installation, commissioning and after sales
  • Estimation of system capacity, and sizing of equipment based on customer drawings and data, including splits, multi splits and VRF
  • Converting specification into a commercial offering
  • Work with our Air Conditioning brands on their product offering and range development
  • Training contractors and service companies on all aspects of our AC range

What we are looking for:

You will be someone who is AC or refrigeration qualified to C&G or ONC level, and/or has 10+ years in a technical role. You’ll have proven experience from working in a similar role within the AC or refrigeration industry, or looking to move from a site based role to the design and support office. The successful candidate will be able to calculate heat gains, understand appropriate equipment to meet customer expectations, and be capable of delivering training. Knowledge of our current kit brands is a benefit, but not essential (Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitsu and Samsung)

Mobility within the UK to visit sites and customers is essential for this role. Base location can be flexible (UK based).
