Regional Director - Benchmarx

Benchmarx Kitchens and Joinery, part of Travis Perkins plc, is now recruiting for a Regional Director to provide leadership to our East Midlands and Anglia based showrooms. 

Reporting to Phil Duffy, our Sales and Operations Director, you will be leading a region of branches, with a large sales budget and a significant team driving show stopping market share growth through your visionary and inspirational management.  Responsible for ensuring the branch operations deliver a market leading service to a wide range of customers, and for contributing to, and implementing the business strategy and growth programme, you will exude charisma and gravitas, acting as a role model in encouraging exponentially increased sales success.

• Do you consider yourself a good influencer with the skills to deliver change and challenge the day to day ‘norm’ 

To succeed within this role, you will need to evidence multi-site experience within a senior operational and sales role. With exceptional communication and influencing skills you will have the ability to engage with a diverse set of stakeholders and make informed decisions quickly. Experience with Kitchens is not essential, however, experience of working in a trade or merchanting environment is desirable for this role.

Collaboration is key, and working in partnership with our other brands and leaders is essential to continue driving market share. The Regional Director will be responsible for c.26 Showroom Managers, a Regional Sales Manager and an Operations Support Manager. That’s a pretty big team, and therefore you’ll possess unrivalled leadership capabilities, be able to influence and engage your team to deliver great results inline with the overall business strategy.
