What does a Kitchen Designer do? 

Kitchen Designers specialise in the design and layout of kitchens. They are responsible for putting together functional and aesthetically pleasing designs that deliver an exceptional customer experience. 

You’ll meet with clients to discuss their needs, take measurements of kitchen spaces, develop 3D models, select materials and finishes, and coordinates with contractors and builders to ensure your customers vision comes to life. 

Why did you join Benchmarx?

Sam joined us on our “Learn and Earn” Apprenticeship Programme as he believed this would be a great opportunity to progress his career, and he was right! 

Our Apprenticeships give colleagues access to plenty of training, including personal development, people management and supplementary courses.

What do you enjoy most about your role as Kitchen Designer? 

“Seeing the customers over the moon with their new kitchen is the best thing about the job.”

Our Kitchen Designers are involved in every aspect of designing the customer’s kitchen - right from conception, through to planning and up until the moment the customer sees their kitchen for the first time. And for Sam, it’s seeing the end results and putting a smile on his customers’ faces that makes the job worth it.
