The role we're recruiting for;

The role of Driver’s Mate is required to to assist the driver with the safe delivery of stock to customers homes

Principle Accountabilities

• To assist the driver with the safe delivery of kitchens, bathrooms and other materials within company policies and procedures and to customer satisfaction

• To ensure that the load is checked prior to departure from site and that documentation is present on the vehicle, and stock is correctly identified and the POD signed by the customer

• Main delivery crew point of contact for customer service agents. Ensure that any issues at the point of delivery are promptly communicated to customer services with the main aim of ensuring that the customer is satisfied

• Operate the PDA unit in line with company procedures

• To maintain a good knowledge of products and SKU numbers

• To deal with all customers in a polite and courteous manner

• To fulfil one’s duties in line with Equal Opportunities with respect for colleagues and customers

What are we looking for?

• Basic Maths/English

• Safe lifting

• Basic IT skills

• Geographical knowledge

• Working knowledge of WTD regulations

• Good verbal communication skills

• LGV 2 driving licence

• Previous experience in a home delivery role
