Customer Sales Assistant

Have you got previously worked in a Customer Sales Assistant environment, do you enjoy sales and like being part of a team, as well as working on your own initiative, then we have the perfect job for you.  You don't need to come from our sector or know our products, as we will provide you with a great on-boarding and induction.  Sound good - keep reading!  

Our Worcester branch is on McKenzie Way and is looking for a Customer Sales Assistant to join their team and support on the the branch counter, greeting our customers that come into our branch and helping that with their orders and providing a first class service.

The branch is only 5 years old and has 18 colleagues and 4 delivery vehicles, given the size of the branch it’s really busy with a footfall of over 150 Trade customers a day, most we know on a first name basis. The Branch Manager has created a fun and professional environment where everyone supports one another, so you will be in great hands from day one!

Opening Hours - The branch is open Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm and Saturdays 8am - 12pm (2 Saturdays in 4)  We are open to full time, flexible working and part time, this can be discussed at interview stage.

What will I be doing?

No one day is the same as the next in TP branch life, and now that you have a new found knowledge of our products, here are a few pointers:

• Our success is built on strong relationships with our customers so it’s essential that you can help deliver the highest standards of service - the key thing is to be helpful and friendly, you will likely get to know our customers on a first name basis.
• You’ll handle requests, provide information on our products, prepare quotes and help each customer with their purchase, taking our sales from good to great.
• You'll also be responsible for ensuring the safe and correct movement of our products around the branch. 
• Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your aim will be to ensure that our standards never slip, by adhering to all stay safe policies and procedures.

What experience do you need?

This is a key customer facing role, you just need the ability to provide great customer service, we can teach you the rest.
