Are you ready for an exciting challenge? Join our dynamic retail business as a Senior Digital Analyst within our Customer, Commercial, and Supply Chain team. Reporting to the Head of Digital, you’ll take the lead in implementing, managing, and optimizing Google Tag Manager (GTM) for our web properties. Your expertise in digital analytics, tag management, and marketing technologies will be essential in transforming raw data into actionable insights, driving continuous improvement in our E-commerce marketplace.
Take Accountability: Lead the business in Tag Management, ensuring efficient deployment to support marketing and analytics initiatives. You’ll troubleshoot any tag implementation issues, leveraging automation and optimization to enhance tag management processes.
Collaborate: Work closely with development teams to ensure proper data layer management, implementation, and maintenance. Partner with marketing, analytics, and software development teams to ensure everyone is aligned on GTM usage and best practices.
Expert Analysis: Track performance and drive improvements by setting up and configuring tags, triggers, and variables within GTM. Integrate with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and other third-party tools, monitoring tag performance to ensure data integrity.
Compliance: Ensure we remain compliant with GDPR and CCPA regulations, while adhering to industry best practices.
What you'll bring
Subject Matter Expertise: Deep knowledge of GTM and a thorough understanding of the E-commerce landscape and key performance metrics. You’ll have the coaching and mentorship skills to translate complex technical information into language the wider team can grasp. As our go-to expert, you’ll need to be confident, credible, and comfortable taking responsibility.
Relationship and Stakeholder Management: You excel at building relationships and can present highly technical data in a way that everyone can understand. Your credibility and likability enable you to foster collaborative partnerships with ease.
High-Level Analysis: Proficient in using multiple data sources to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and develop new analytical approaches. You’re experienced in GA4, SimilarWeb, ContentSquare, Advanced SQL, Advanced ETL, data visualisation tools and Looker. You should have experience of using JavaScript for event tracking, DoM interaction, data layer management and debugging in GTM and Google Analytics.
Commercial Acumen: You understand that the end goal is to establish us as a leading omni-channel retailer with a best-in-class online presence and you'll be instrumental in making that happen.
