What you will do

At Travis Perkins, we have a brilliant opportunity for a Sales Negotiator to join our collaborative and thriving National Sales team based in our Office within Northampton. 


You will build and maintain relationships with our large National customers, being their single point of contact for pricing and ordering. It is essential that you identify new sales opportunities, from both new and existing customers, taking ownership of quotes and ensuring these are all actioned and followed up. 


In this role you will also coordinate enquiries over email and manage inbound calls. Linking with our branch network, manufacturers and National Account Managers, you will partner with them to contribute to our sales growth through proactive customer engagement.

We are after someone who’s enthusiastic, resilient and resourceful, with a sharp eye for identifying new opportunities and a passion for excellence. Being well-organised and planned goes without saying, as you will be responsible for meeting our valued customer expectations.


The successful candidate will ideally have:

- Great customer services skills 

- The ability to Build strong relationships with multiple customer and internal stakeholders

- Experience in identifying new opportunities and creating solutions for our customers

- Excellent IT skills with the ability to use multiple systems. 

- Knowledge of building materials and the merchant industry would be desired but not essential as full training will be provided.
