Release Coordinator

The Release Coordinator will ensure the tracking of software releases through the non-production environments, ensuring appropriate approvals are provided and changes are sequenced appropriately. The release coordinator will also support the transition of software into the production change process by providing process guidance and ensuring the backfill of software components into the non-production environments following production release  to ensure environments are fit for purpose. 

This role is Hybrid working, so travel to our Travis Perkins head office based in Northampton is required twice a week!

Principal Accountabilities 

• Facilitating approval of releases into not production environments 

• Ensure coexistence in environment through coordinating deployments will SMEs

• Where appropriate, deliver release plans for projects and programmes

• Challenges requirements and approaches to ensure best use of environments and resources

• Ensures documentation is maintained up to date at all times

• Identify and implement processes  and improvements 

What you’ll need to have:

• Maths and English GCSEs grades C / 4 or above

• Has worked as part of a team

• Proven track record of self management.

• Determination and persistence

• The ability to trust intuition with minimal supervision

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• The ability to work well in a group setting

• Thorough attention to detail
