Our group HR teams are at the heart of everything we do, they encourage us to work together, to care for one another and ensure we’re always giving our best, to be our best. 

We’re obviously biased, however, we know we’ve got a proven organisational structure that supports a HR Business Partner to develop and grow by taking on a wide range of career building challenges as well as getting involved with some brilliant projects along the way!

Our portfolio of businesses range from trade, to distribution, to retail and most recently manufacturing; it's common that the HRBP community experiences all of these different environments over time. What do you need to know about the role? 

Well, you’ll report into the Head of HR for BSS, naturally within our HR community, they are a great mentor with a great track record. You’ll have a terrific mentor!

In terms of the day to day, we operate in a matrix led, autonomous and ambiguous environment. This means the role will be as exciting and as challenging as you want to make it. What we can guarantee is you’ll have fun along the way and work with some great stakeholders! 

Who thrives in our environment?

It's really clear for us, our group is wide and varied so you’ll need to be outgoing and not afraid to build new relationships. Everyone is lovely, humble and very supportive, so it's not too scary.

You’ll work with a number of stakeholders and balancing this can sometimes be challenging to navigate. So, tenacity, patience and great influencing skills are attributes you’ll need on a day to day basis. You’ll need to be a people person!
