My name is Natalie, and I currently work as part of the recruitment team here at Travis Perkins, but I started off my career in my local branch when I was 18 completing a development programme, which I then became a Branch Supervisor. Let me tell you more about us, and why you should consider a career with our brilliant business.
Let’s be honest, no one grows up with a burning passion to work in a builders merchant (well, I know I certainly didn't!). I didn't really know what to expect, but since joining, I have been supported by an amazing team that have an unrivalled passion to provide an excellent level of service to our local customers (typically builders and tradespeople) and I’m now working in a completely different area of the business in an area that I love.
Travis Perkins have a tonne of benefits too:
22 days annual leave, pension, bonus and staff discount (Including 20% off at Toolstation!)
Discounts at various retailers including Currys, Tesco, Boots, John Lewis + many more!
Travis Perkins is part of the Travis Perkins plc group. Our group has a number of different businesses under its umbrella meaning plenty of opportunity for internal movement and progression, it’s strongly encouraged here
Sociable working hours
I hope that you’re as excited about this role as I am, and that my first hand experience has provided a small insight into what we do here. Apply today, you won’t regret it!
We’re driving to become a truly inclusive employer. We want everyone to be at their best and it’s our ambition that everyone within our Group feels safe, welcome and confident to be their authentic selves.
