Joining our friendly family as a Warehouse & Customer Service Assistant, you'll be on the front line dealing with our customers assisting with all deliveries, supplier collections and ensuring the warehouse operation is well maintained and provides a safe environment. This is a hands on, all rounder role supporting our branch team and key to our continued success and first-class service standards.
Our branch in Burton on Trent is currently looking for a new team member to join us on a casual basis, starting 26th June and ending 28th September. In an ideal world, we’d look for someone to work 39.5 hours per week but we appreciate that the world is not ideal, and therefore can offer some flexibility for the right person. We’re not looking for lots of previous experience in a customer-focused warehouse role, however, it would be ideal! What we are looking for is someone with a customer-centric mindset and a desire to do a great job, everything else can be taught.
What Will You Be Doing?
Our branches are usually attached to a small warehouse which houses all of our stock. From pipes and tubes, fittings and components, aircon and refrigeration units to tools - we cover the lot. We’re looking for someone who is happy to work in a physically demanding environment, working as part of a team to keep the warehouse running smoothly, efficiently, and most importantly, safely.
The successful applicant would be responsible for organising stock and putting it in the correct locations, loading and unloading branch vehicles as and when required, and general housekeeping duties. Interested? Apply Now!
