Where Will You Be Working?

BSS, a subsidiary of Travis Perkins Group, is looking for a experienced Branch Manager to take charge of Bristol branch. The branch is already staffed with a team of 24 colleagues, operating 5 delivery vehicles while serving a large number of customers per day. Bristol is in our top 5 branches and is also a flagship branch. Turn over at our Bristol Branch is around 15 Million a year.

What will you be doing?

As Branch Manager, you'll be responsible for:

• Developing strong relationships with customers and suppliers in order to build profitable business growth. Build regular, productive and focused contact with the wider team in order to drive value add to the customers

• Manage the full operation of the branch and ensure that you meet all standards for safety, deliver storage efficiency, housekeeping and support the ability of customers to find the right products

• Be in control of sales, margin and overheads to exceed targets and deliver best in class financial performance

• Set the tone and champion a Stay Safe culture across the branch at all times promoting a healthy workplace and colleague wellbeing

You will guide, motivate, engage, delegate to empower your team to work together and deliver great service for our customers

Does this sound like you?

The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing a similar size store or branch and possess transferable skills, including inspirational leadership, operational management, sales, great customer service, and commercial acumen. You should be a passionate, inspirational, and engaging leader who can delegate successfully and empower colleagues to take accountability. You should be adaptable, resilient, and tenacious with high levels of energy and drive, and you should thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
