Assistant Branch Manager

TF Solutions, part of the UK's biggest builders' merchant, is seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to support the running of day-to-day operations as Assistant Branch Manager. What Does the Role Entail?

Your key responsibilities include the following:

• Support the Branch Manager with all health and safety matters and uphold the stay safe culture within the branch by taking action when necessary

• Develop strong relationships with customers and suppliers to drive profitable business growth. Build regular, productive, and focused contact with the wider team to drive value add to customers

• Control stock management within the branch, including updated buying directives, and ensure the correct procedures are adopted when placing all orders for branch stock

• Deputise for the Branch Manager in their absence and comply with company policies and procedures to cover all aspects of operational duties

• Ensure the highest standards are maintained in the branch at all times, preventing loss or damage. Maintain strict observance of company policies and procedures, staff performance, and good housekeeping

• Responsible for Branch security and opening and closing the Branch in the absence of the Branch Manager or as delegated by the Branch Manager

We are seeking a candidate who is excellent at work with minimal supervision, has great interpersonal and customer service skills. You must have supervisory experience, the ability to manage your own time, and work with initiative. Sales experience, ideally within the Air Conditioning & Refrigeration industry, is an added advantage. You must have a winning mentality, a positive attitude, and a real passion for people and the customer experience.
