As a Yard Assistant, you’ll work outdoors in all weather conditions and be part of our hardworking, friendly team, delivering exceptional service to our customers. This is a hands-on, demanding role, so you’ll need to enjoy being active and busy.

What You'll Be Doing

• Serving our customers, completing paperwork accurately, and ensuring they are satisfied with the products they receive.

• Safely moving materials around the branch, loading and unloading customer and company vehicles, and offloading supplier deliveries into our stock warehouse.

• Operating a counterbalance forklift truck, for which we will provide training.

Who You Are

• Experience with heavy lifting or working outdoors would be beneficial, but not essential.

• An MHE (Material Handling Equipment) licence or previous experience would be an advantage.

• Excellent customer service skills – a positive, helpful attitude, and the ability to make both customers and colleagues smile is essential.

• The ability to work in line with company policies.

• Willingness to assist with stock-taking as required.
