Do you have a background in Drainage Civil Engineering? Then this role could be for you! We have a great opportunity for a Technical Manager to join Keyline.
You will be solving on site or design based problems through optioneering and the development of solutions with our supply chain partners to aid the progression of the Tier 1 led projects we work on as a Nationals Team, through to the point of order. Using your experience and knowledge, you will help to upskill our colleagues on important issues surrounding civils elements and associated products to help build a more informed workforce.
Location: Home based role with regular travel to client sites and our Northampton office
Key Accountabilities:
Working closely with the sales and project teams at Keyline to give in depth engineering support and guidance on relevant elements of projects and products, inclusive of being able to create and interpret calculations.
Liaising with the technical / engineering departments of new and existing supply chain partners to assess and action areas of opportunity and growth in sectors of interest to Keyline.
Be the focal point for technical requests from customers and the main technical interface for the engineering departments of design houses and manufacturers.
To create and maintain a portfolio of Asset Owner, Contractor and Design Engineer contacts that you will meet with to influence and present the Technical Team offering, new products, systems and methods of working to gain access to enquiries to work on.
To inform and train colleagues on new and existing product lines / systems and assist in the creation of a training programme for the company along with creation of case studies.
To create and maintain a library of technical data such as standard detail drawings, test reports, relevant standards and BIM Models.
To keep a detailed log of all projects worked on using Sales Hub and report weekly on progress.
Does this sound like you?
A background in Drainage Civil Engineering product background within either: Sales / Manufacture / Specification / Engineering / Design
Qualification in Civil Engineering
Strong attention to detail and take pride in accuracy
Excellent organisational and document management skills.to detail
Ability to build relationships with customers, colleagues & clients
Self motivated and the ability to work independently
Excellent IT skills with confident use of Google applications
