Showroom Manager
Do you enjoy working in a sales environment that is customer led? Do you have supervisory or management experience as well as a knowledge of all things kitchen and joinery? We are looking for a Benchmarx Showroom Manager to join our branch in Didcot.
Working hours are Monday - Friday 7.30am -5.00pm and every other Saturday 8.00am - Midday.

What will I be doing?
Not one day is the same as the next in Travis Perkins/Benchmarx branch life, but with your new found knowledge, here are a few pointers:
- Our success is built on strong relationships with our Trade customers, some we know on a first name basis, so it’s essential to be helpful and friendly at all times.
- As Showroom Manager you’ll be responsible for the profitability and maximisation within the showroom together with dealing with managerial duties covering the full spectrum of management disciplines.
- With your expertise and knowledge of products and services we offer, you’ll be on the front line and a pivotal contact for new and existing customers, nurturing great relationships, understanding their needs in order to offer expert advice and recommending alternatives to meet their personal needs and maximise the sale of goods, along with maintaining and enhancing profitability of the showroom - reviewing costs and modifying stock.
- Provide excellent levels of customer service whilst making sure safety comes first
- Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your aim will be to ensure that all our colleagues and customers leave the Branch safely, by adhering to all stay safe policies and procedures.
Where will you be working?
You will be based in our Didcot branch, located on Lower Broadway, Didcot, OX11 8AG. This branch is one of our successful branches based in our South West and Wales region. The branch already has a fantastic, well established team of over 14 colleagues 2 being in Benchmarx, we also operate 3 HGVs from the TP Branch. Customer footfall is strong, the workplace is a busy one!
What experience do you need?
With numerous product lines, previous experience within the kitchen sector is desirable, but what we really need is a great attitude, hunger to learn and your transferable skills for great sales and customer Service. ( You will need a full UK Drivers Licence for this position as you may be visiting customers).
