Sales and Operations Supervisor - Balham 


Are you a proactive and driven sales person with an equal interest in branch operations? Are you looking to join a successful winning team in a flagship banch? We are Travis Perkins, the UK’s largest builders merchant and we have an exciting BRAND NEW opportunity for someone to join our branch in Balham to play an integral part in our ongoing success.

Where you'll be working? 

Our Flagship branch in Balham is a fast paced branch with a successful team of 32 staff. We have a fleet of 7 Vehicles and a full Tool Hire department. This a great opportunity for someone with previous sales and day to day operational experience (preferably gained within ours or a similar industry) to support the Branch Manager and Sales Manager with our continued success in Balham

What you'll be doing?

This brand new role is a fantastic opportunity to further develop your sales and operational experience. This hybrid role supports the Sales Manager in a small team but also will allow you to play a part in general operational management, taking responsibility for the branch in the absence of all other senior managers. 

No one day is the same as the next in TP branch life, but here are a few pointers:
  • Our success is built on strong relationships with our customers so it’s essential that you can help coach a team to deliver the highest standards of service.  
  • With your learned knowledge of the products and services we offer, you will be a pivotal contact for our customers, nurturing great relationships, understanding their needs in order to offer expert advice and recommending alternatives to meet their individual needs and maximise the sale of goods.
  • Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your aim will be to ensure that all our colleagues and customers leave the Branch safely, by adhering to all stay safe policies and procedures.
  • Being commercially aware, you will support the Branch Manager in managing all aspects of a Branch and business.
