Rewards Specialist
Do you put colleagues at the heart of everything you do?
Do you have a keen eye for detail?
Do you love engaging and talking to people?
If so, we are currently recruiting for a full time, permanent Reward Specialist to join our Group Reward team. The role allows you to work mostly at home if you wish but the team gets together at The Hub in Duston, Northampton one day a week to interact with other colleagues and provide that social aspect of working as a team..
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone perhaps currently working in a similar role who wants to develop their skills and specialise in Reward comms and colleague engagement.
What you’ll do
You’ll be setting up and working through an annual calendar of activities based on our Benefits Strategy, working closely with our Wellbeing lead and Internal Comms team to design and deliver promotional content. You’ll use a variety of media to raise awareness of the Company’s benefits and financial wellbeing initiatives, with a goal of increasing engagement levels and more importantly, maintaining them. This includes compiling and issuing a regular Newsletter, video content, face to face at business events, virtual or in person presentations and managing content on our benefits platform - myPerks - throughout the year. We want you to ensure myPerks remains fresh, engaging and relevant to our colleagues.
Using the myPerks portal and other sources, you’ll work with our providers to produce engagement statistics and MI for the use of our business teams, so you’ll need to have some analytical experience as well as being able to communicate across all levels of the organisation.
You’ll work closely with other members of Group Reward including the Head of Pensions and FInancial Wellbeing and the Group Benefits Manager to ensure successful delivery of campaigns and projects as well as providing support to our Compensation team during the annual salary review and bonus processes.
Engaging with our colleagues to ensure they know what benefits are available is key to ensure the total reward proposition is communicated. To achieve this you’ll attend business events and conferences to deliver the messaging directly to colleagues and line managers. Attending supplier conferences will also be beneficial in keeping up with new benefits and trends with a view to implementing selected ones across the Group.
From time to time you’ll conduct surveys on Reward related topics, so experience in the use of a survey tool would be beneficial.
Is this you?
Confident, friendly and helpful
Able to use your own initiative
Passionate about delivering increased engagement levels
Problem solving and analytical skills would be beneficial as to support the production of relevant MI stats for internal stakeholders.
Love to interact with colleagues at all levels across the Group.
Able to lead/ manager project work, preferable as a workstream
Experience in listening with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Due to the confidential nature of the work we do, you’ll need to work with absolute discretion.
What’s in it for you?
You’ll be supported by some of the best training & development in the industry plus our impressive internal succession programme means whatever it is you do with us, it will be easy for you to learn, grow and develop across the Travis Perkins Group.
