Regional Sales Negotiator
Role Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Sales Negotiator within our Glasgow Regional Sales Office. Joining our friendly and hard working family as a Regional Sales Negotiator will give you a fantastic opportunity to showcase your ability to sell, asking the right questions to offer value engineering or link selling additional products needed for their project. It is key to build relationships with our customers as well as identifying and introducing new customers to Keyline, the role comes with plenty of training and opportunities for career progression

- Previous experience within a sales or construction role would be favourable..

Main Duties and Responsibilities
No one day will be the same as a Regional Sales Negotiator.
Drive sales and continually review our products and markets to exploit new business opportunities.
With your learned knowledge of the products and services we offer, you will be responsible for the management of your own predetermined customer base and for coordinating all aspects of pricing and account development.
Maximise the full potential on all opportunities and enquiries (from the initial contact to closing the sale) by identifying the products or materials required, understanding any customer problems to offer the solution or better value alternative.
Be a focal point for customer enquiries via phone and email, dealing politely and efficiently with all requests for orders, quotes and information.
Negotiating and building relationships with key suppliers and their representatives.
Understand and maintain a high level of commercial awareness, gain knowledge of products and materials, their qualities and uses while remaining aware of price movements as a result of price increase, scarcity of stock and special offers.
To participate and drive your development through training and learning.
Knowledge/Skills
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to identify, understand and respond to customer needs.
Desire to progress and improve skills and abilities.
Ability to work on your own initiative.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work as a member of a team.
Sound product knowledge.
Good organisational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise.
IT experience.
