Regional Sales Key Account Manager
The Role
You will be able to confidently manage a predetermined list of key accounts for the region focusing on adopting a consistent service and contact strategy driven from the centre or the region if a local account. You will focus heavily on supporting the improvement of the share of wallet in all accounts to encourage growth of profitable sales. The role requires the ability to work with the Key Account Director when relevant and other stakeholders to ensure that all centrally agreed strategies are supported and implemented effectively.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
To develop and grow profitable sales to key account customers.
To achieve sales and profit targets for identified products or product ranges.
To act as an effective link between the customer and Travis Perkins branches.
To monitor service measures and report on progress regularly.
To work in conjunction with Commercial Team and Inventory on product and stocking matters.
Through consistent planning, make the most effective use of time as a resource to achieve set targets and objectives.
To understand the company’s goals and strategy, and work in full accordance with official policies and processes.
To adopt a positive and pro-active style of work and to lead by example in any given situation.
To assist the Regional Sales Director on any business development activities as and when required.
To carry out other duties at the request of the Regional Sales Director e.g. Market Research.
To follow and engage colleagues in delivering an industry leading Stay Safe culture.
