Christina Dell, our Regional Director, South, is now recruiting a Regional Sales Director to help shape the future of our business in the South West and Wales.
As a Regional Sales Director, you will set the strategic direction for our sales operations, working closely with Christina, the Regional Key Account Managers and branches, and the National Sales team. You will be the key point of contact for regional and national customers, ensuring we deliver best-in-class solutions. You’ll also lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals to unlock new opportunities, win projects, and achieve outstanding commercial results.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Work with senior leadership to create a clear, focused sales plan that drives growth in new and existing markets
Build Customer Relationships: Manage and strengthen relationships with key customers, ensuring we meet their needs and deliver exceptional service on every project
Drive Supplier Collaboration: Build best in class relationships with our strategic suppliers to develop mutually beneficial project pipelines and work winning methods
Lead a High-Performing Team: Coach and mentor Account Managers, Sales Leads, and branch colleagues to foster a culture of excellence, growth, and collaboration
Drive Business Growth: Identify commercial opportunities, track project pipelines, and expand our customer base through targeted business development activities.
Enhance Sales Processes: Foster a culture that uses management tools (e.g., CRM, QMS, Sales Hub) to optimise sales activities and improve project tracking and customer satisfaction
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the regional sales colleagues and national teams to facilitate smoother project execution, improve customer service, and maximise business outcomes.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: At least 5 years of senior management experience in sales, ideally within the construction or civils industry.
Skills: Strong commercial acumen, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of leading teams to achieve ambitious sales targets.
Leadership: You’re an inspirational leader with the ability to develop talent, drive high performance, and foster collaboration across teams.
Knowledge: Industry knowledge, along with experience working with business systems and sales management tools.
