As the Category Marketing Manager for Travis Perkins you will develop, own and evaluate the Travis Perkins & Benchmarx product marketing plan, including promotions and product category initiatives, across all channels.
Working within the Marketing & Digital function you will be responsible for creating and managing the implementation of the promotional and category marketing plan, ensuring performance measurement and making recommendations for improving ROI; across all channels.
The role is hybrid working whereby you work from home and at our head office based in Duston, Northamptonshire.
Key Accountabilities:
Ensure effective management of all stakeholders in the promotional process
Maintain and protect brand identity, across all online and offline channels, ensuring activity is on-brand and in-line with the strategy
Appraise, control and manage resources (budget, people & agencies) to ensure optimal performance and value for money
Ensure all promotions are delivered on time and to budget
Ensure operational and sales colleagues are up-to-speed with relevant category marketing activities, gaining their support where necessary, in order to maximise the opportunity.
Ensure engagement with other marketing colleagues and suppliers to deliver promotions across all activities and channels
Brief creative teams, internal and external to deliver promotions across all channels
What you’ll bring:
Experience in a similar role, retail marketing would be advantageous
Project Management experience
Budget management
Agency negotiation
Senior stakeholder management
Understand analysis and ROI
Multiple marketing channels both on and offline
Tenacious and energetic; the ability to keep persevering and overcome obstacles
