Finance Analyst

Are you an enthusiastic Finance Analyst looking for your next opportunity?  If so then we have the role for you!  We are currently looking for a Property Finance Analyst to join our progressive and professional finance team and help manage the activities of the group's property portfolio.  

What you’ll do

As the Property Finance Analyst you will help manage a range of activities for the group's property portfolio which has 2,000 properties which includes 400 freeholds. You will be an analyst that can demonstrate experience within a large company, that can deliver high-quality month processes for property Finance. 

This is a hybrid role, where you will spend 2 days a week in our Head Office in Northampton.

You’ll be responsible for:

• To ensure the property leasing system is kept up to date, liaising with other departments to reflect any new or modified leases.

• To assist with the timely and accurate production of the monthly accounts, including preparing the property cost journals for the whole group to strict deadlines.

• Preparing and completing reconciliations within agreed timescales and to an accurate level, with a view to developing a system of reporting and ensuring any adjustments are made in  timely manner.

• To answer property queries from branch and business unit management in a timely manner.

• Assisting in preparing budgets for property costs such as rent, service charges, and rates which will be charged to the branches.

• Maintenance of the external property database, ensuring any corrections are made in a timely manner in order to recharge to the branches.

• Ad hoc projects as required to meet the needs of the business.
