What will you do?
To provide a dedicated estates / asset management role for the North & Scotland.
Some accountabilities of the role:
Responsible for general estate management matters including, advising on lease terms & title information via Freeths / GC, planning enquiries, arranging EPC’s, completing/managing tenancies at will & licences, land registry plans.
Coordination of branch repairs process, proactively responding to branch queries initially and linking with Facilities and appointed FM providers.
Proactive involvement with the branch closure process, covering the full process from initial site clearance to eventual disposal. The communication of key dates.
Work with an outsourced sublet portfolio provider.
Involvement with various asset management initiatives to include small scale acquisition, lease regears etc. Suitable supervision and support will be provided
To work effectively as part of a team alongside Regional Asset Managers and other professionals within the Estates and wider Group Property function.
Involvement with branch investment projects within North of England & Scotland region working collaboratively with Finance, Construction and Regional Operations
Responsibility for all maintenance and access requirements for the vacant sites.
What you’ll need to have/be:
Educated to at least GCSE level including Maths and English
Relevant property experience working in-house, the public sector or private practice
Friendly and personable self-starter with a 'can-do' attitude and the ability to work flexibly as part of a dynamic and fast-paced team
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and communicate a range of projects and tasks.
Understanding of leases and related property documentation.
Proactive approach
Stakeholder management - both external agents and internal surveyors
