Apprenticeships at Travis Perkins - Our 3 Year LEAP
Learn and Earn
In just three years, our “Learn and Earn” Apprenticeship Programmes (LEAP) grew to a 38-strong apprenticeship offering while 2020 was marked as a record-breaker for the number of new apprentices we welcomed to the Group. During this time, we’ve seen more females join the Group through the apprenticeship programmes than our other avenues, as well as more young people under the age of 30. By diversifying our talent pool in this way, we’ve ensured that the Group better reflects the communities that we serve.
Our skilled in-house team deliver the majority of our programmes and they play an enormous part in ensuring every apprentice not only succeeds but graduates with a grade they can be proud of. With the help of the LEAP team and their Apprentice Coach, every person gets the support they need and they’re shown how they can make the most of their apprenticeship journey. No matter their level of experience, each programme is designed to give our apprentices the skills they need to take their career to the next level.
